This atlas targets policy makers, development partners and the general public. With about forty maps, graphics and photographs from the OSS-made regional study on the Iullemeden - Taoudéni/Tanezrouft transboundary aquifer, the atlas provides information on the water resources availability and supply in Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritania, Niger and Nigeria.
The reader will also find illustrations on water and the strategic role it plays in trans-boundary cooperation, food security, health and socio-economic development to face global changes.
